As part of their Livable Centers Initiative, the City of Powder Springs is hosting a survey to learn what YOU want to see built next in downtown Powder Springs. What if you could snap your fingers right now and make it happen? Make your voice heard!

A Better Cobb’s vision would be more housing, connected sidewalks and bike lanes, and transit options so people can enjoy nightlife without having to worry about how they’re going to get home. Filling out surveys at the local level is how we get nice things!
Walking around downtown Powder Springs, immediate issues jump out at you:
- Not enough commercial space to bring in more shops and restaurants. Let’s build it out and make downtown a real destination.
- The amphitheater could be a great community gathering spot—if only it had more shade for those hot Georgia summers.
- Too little housing nearby means fewer regulars who can walk to and support local businesses.
In addition to filling out the survey, write to the elected officials in Powder Springs and let them know what you think! Three of the council members (Ward 1, 2, and 3) are up for reelection this November 4, 2025, so they have an extra incentive to listen to you!
