Free Zine Library
Last month, A Better Cobb and over 100 of our closest friends celebrated the announcement of our official nonprofit status. We reached our fundraising goal of $5,000, which means we have the critical funds to continue our impactful work for the rest of the year.
Three cheers to all of our volunteers who spent countless hours putting this event together.
“When I say build, you say bike lanes!” Cars are tired of sitting in traffic, too
“When I say community, you say sidewalks!” So we can walk without playing Frogger
“When I say rent, you say is too damn high!” The only house I can afford is in Monopoly
Hooray!
One of the activities we had at the launch party was a table full of free zines.

What is a zine?
In proper terms, a zine (pronounced “zeen”) is micro-publication, devoted to a specialized subject matter and intended for non-commercial use. Informally, it’s a folded up piece of paper with the best tidbits of community info.
That’s so cool! How can I get one?
You can download all of the zines at our online library. Some were written by A Better Cobb members, others we found and thought they were really cool. You’ll also find a guide on how to design and fold your own zine!
